Our Story

Starting off as the 2nd generation of his family working in the manufactured housing industry, Jon Morris bought his first community in 2001. Since then, he has expanded Sunrise Communities to now owning and managing 6 communities throughout Upstate NY. At Sunrise Communities, you will find professionalism, quality work and attention to detail. Even with years of experience, we are dedicated to constantly reviewing our work, learning how we can grow, improve and offer better experiences for our residents

Management

We have full-time in-house management to better assist our residents and take care of the day-to-day management of each of our communities. We pride ourselves on being attentive and easy to work with.

Construction

The other half of our workforce focuses on construction and maintenance. Whether that is renovating homes, installing brand new homes, installing driveways or fixing sewer/water lines. We do it all!

Brand New Homes - Installation Process

One of the ways we continue to upgrade our communities is by installing brand new manufactured homes and removing old, outdated mobile homes. High in energy efficiency, quality and aesthetically beautiful, these new homes are how we change a mobile home park into a high-quality manufactured home community.

Our Homes

When designing brand new homes we work directly with the manufacturer to produce beautiful homes. We design the homes to be spacious, focusing on a more open concept so the living and kitchen space flow seamlessly and bedrooms/bathrooms are conveniently situated. Some key factors we look to include are ample storage, spacious kitchen and living rooms and a fresh yet timeless design.

The Skirting

Skirting not only completes the outward appearance of the home but also provides protection from pests and weather while leaving your home ventilated so it does not harbor moisture in the warmer
months.

The Decks

We build and install quality solid wood, pressure treated decks on our homes. They provide beautiful
functional entrances and an ideal spot to relax outside.

Pre-Owned Homes - Renovation Process

When renovating used homes, we install high quality materials leaving the home with more value than when it came brand new from the factory! This can mean installing custom hardwood kitchen cabinets, new windows, luxury vinyl tile flooring, granite countertops and much more.

Kitchen

Arguably the most used part of the home, our kitchen designs are both functional and beautiful. With plenty of storage and room for appliances, we don’t miss a beat. When designing our kitchen layout, we
look to optimize the layout of the home so it flows effortlessly with the attached living space.

Flooring

Flooring can make a huge difference in the home. After years of testing the quality and durability of different products, we typically use luxury vinyl tile (LVT). Not only does it look beautiful in the home, but it also is easy to clean, comfortable to walk on and has good wearability!

We upgrade the bathroom space with new walk-in showers or soaking tubs along with hardwood vanity cabinets and granite/solid surface countertops.
