Are pets allowed?

Yes, one house cat or one small house dog weighing under 20 Lbs. when fully grown (no dog houses, no fences, no dog runs, no tying up dogs outside, no barking dogs that disturb the neighborhood).

What type of trash removal do you have?

Curbside pickup on Wednesday.

What type of water do you have?

Well water, softened.

Who takes care of the lawn care?

You are responsible for mowing your lawn weekly and not allowing it to grow over 4″ tall. We do have some dedicated areas to dispose of leaves and grass clippings.

Do you have street lights?

Yes.

How is snow removal handled (Plowing)?

We plow the main roads. You have to clear your driveway area.

Is there fishing?

We have the famous Butternut Creek trout fishing stream running through our community.

Are Manufactured Homes Safe?

Yes! Since June 15, 1976, all Manufactured Homes have been built to the National Manufactured Housing Construction and Safety Standards Code. This is a national code established and administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

Can we purchase a home from you and move it onto our own land?

No. Our homes are set up and ready for occupancy within the community. We do not sell homes for private property placement.

What should I bring to purchase a home?

A credit application which the Sunrise Community representative will provide for you to fill out, a copy of a valid driver’s license or photo ID, proof of income (i.e. current pay stub, social security, pension, etc.) Other information may be needed based on individual situations. Please consult with the Housing Consultant for more information.
